I am trying to update my pogs to flat screen lcd monitors, by using a vga monitor that i myself add a touchscreen glass and controller to.

hardware list

300w 12v/5v power supply
pog board 580
ict a6 120v bill acceptor
cga to vga converter
3M microtouch system
19" acer vga flat screen monitor
19" touchscreen glass

When i remove the monitor wires rgb ground and sync from the crt monitor and place them in the wiring harness for the cga to vga converter ...the visual on the lcd screen is broken and choppy. What is the difference from a premade elo touchscreen and a lcd computer monitor where i add the glass and microtouch controlller.
