This is my first time posting,so I'm not sure this is what I need to do, but could anyone please tell me how to put the new lights and play buttons on the players board?  Like where the play, start, take score, big, small etc. buttons are on the front of the cabinet?. My hubby and I are trying to change them and cant figure out how to pop the new ones in. Thank you.  Rebecca

Welcome to NLG k8baller! applause

Where you place the buttons is up to you and
it's your preference really!
There's a website place called Great Lakes Amusements
I think that has pin-outs for your game board.

There are many different kinds of 8-liner boards and
you didn't mention which one you have.

NLG has a video game 8-liner category
in the forum index which would be a much better place
for you to open a topic of this type for next time! yes

Hello!

Button location may vary depending on which 8 liner you have - but I've attached a pic of mine below so you can see how the buttons are setup.  I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for...

here is another suggestion, in the pattern of a triangle, ive taken and placed the small, big, double-up buttons together, i think it  will look unique when i finish it

Hey, thanks guys,
My hubby and I put the new ones back in the way they were already in there. We couldn't figure out how to pop the old light/spring loaded button apparatus, to put the new ones back in their place, but, somehow, we figured it out. It was kinda hard to us. This was our first time changing any. The way you have to take each of those 4 wires off each of the six buttons,, and they sure don't slide off easy, at all!!, But, its done and working well. YEAY!!!. Thank you all. I'll have to remember where to look to come in next time. This was my first post. Sorry. I m gonna have to study this site out a little more.
                                                                                                                                                                     See ya, Becca

Remember, there are two different pairs of wires for each switch...
one is for the bulb and the other pair is for the switch.
Each pair has a double wire and those would be the grounds.
The single wires split for the bulbs and switches.

I wish you would of told us what game you have so I could tell exactly which color goes on which tab.
But since you still haven't told us...all we can do is guess.
I hope you'll consider showing us your machine in the future so we can drool over it! smiley drool

Hi, Thanks so much for replying to me. I am so retarded. I am still trying to figure how to put smileys in the posts. lol. But anyway, that was for a fruit bonus 96. We got those dang thangs in finally. The white light plastic part was so hard for us to figure how to get them to pop into the new button/spring part. We finally got them all. New we are trying to figure how to reset the points. We know how to reset the board of course, but how to zero it out, like if someone wanted to cash out, or someone hit the fruits or something. We don't have a ticket dispenser or printer, just dont know how to zero it. Would you know how? Also, I cant send any pictures. I dont know how. I dont have a scanner either. I never have done any of that. I apologize. Thanks so much for helping. For taking the time. I really appreciate it. Thanks, Becca

Thanks Stayouttadabunker, I will go check out those manuals.   Becca
P.S. How do I use those smileys? when I click on one, it puts a number and hyphens, instead.

Yes, leave a space so it knows the difference between a period and the smiley.
You don't see it until you save it...if you don't like it, you can always edit your post instantly. yes

hello, to remove the games on a fruit bonus '96, either touch wire 21 with wire 36 (ground), or connect the two to a momentary pushbutton.
