Good day for all,

I'm using a FutureLogic printer Gen2 to implement TITO, but it doesn't communicate. I use a program to simulate gaming machine but I don't know what is the problem. I attach program. Thanks for attention.

What is the part number on the printer?
IF the printer is made for an IGT machine usually has an N in the part number, which means it uses Netplex protocol.
To get the netplex test suite I think you have to talk to IGT.

The printer is PSA-66-ST2R, it uses RS232 protocol

Good day,

I'm using a FutureLogic application FLICommWrangler2.034BetaS in my PC and printer is connected to serial port. Can I upload application?

Printer was installed in gaming machine BlueBird 2 with Netplex conversor, but I want to test in my PC with RS232.

Thanks for attention.

Good day for all,

Finally I print out a self-test ticket on the printer: With the printer powered off hold down the FEED button and power up, and keep FEED held down until it starts to print. The printer firmware and baud rate will be printed.

Although the printer is, originally, PSA-66-ST2R with firmware GRUSA4100, it was modified to firmware GNUSA7510, therefore, my test is wrong. Printer uses Netplex protocol. Thanks for attention.

printer can be changed from netplex to rs232 by changing the jumpers on the printer motherboard.  jumpers are near the big, white molex connector.  i cant remember if you need them both to be close to the plug or away from the plug but you change both jumpers together i do remember that.  the only difference between rs232 and netplex on the gen2 is the jumpers and the firmware.  hope it helps!
