Well I have got myself 3 Bally slots. They came from a private collection and the owner passed away 2 years ago.
As you can see they have glass missing, glass broken, coin mechs missing, hoppers missing etc.
They are also pitted with rust.  They seem to have come from Caesars in Atlantic city.

With help from Buzz on this site, I have got the Blazing 7 machine working 100%. Also the Double Jackpot is working in test mode. I just need to source a coin mech lead as it is missing.
I will look at the diamond line this weekend and see how it goes but alot of things missing from it.

Will post pics as I go to hopefully restore them.

I intend to keep them all once finished.

Ford   I think your wrong on this one, someone just put a plate over the BV opening.  These machines are in Ireland, so I don't think there is much hope to getting a DBV 145 SG to except their money.

Steve is this the pig tail your looking for ? If so PM me your address and I will send you one. Please in the PM write your address exactly the way I will have to put it on a package.

Well you are lucky that you have another machine to compare to.
you should not have a problem finding parts for those.

Buzz, That is the lead ok. I will send you a pm.

Can I pay you for it or make a small donation to this site.

@ slots4home. I also have a box of parts i got with the machines. With one machine working and complete I can compare the non working ones to it and hopefully get all 3 going. Pity about the broken bottom glass in the double jackpot. I do have the top glass for the diamond play.

bigslope, You say your glass is broken. You know if your decal is good you can remove it & put it on another glass.
A pain but it can be done.

The decal is cut and split. If I can get a replacement one I can get a piece of glass cut locally.

Now a slight problem !!!  Most of the coins I insert into the machine seem to go straight to the bottom box rather than the coin hopper. Anyone any idea why that would be?

Their is a sensor on the hopper that tells the machine to divert the coin to the box. If the machine thinks the hopper is full it will divert the coins.check the wires on the hopper bowl and make sure they are not connecting to each other.

Steve  I'm assuming you mean they are going back to the coin tray.  You being in North Ireland I don't know how consistent the coins you are using are.  I think I would  try just using the coins that have went to the hopper at least one time. Another thing you can do is turn the adjusting screw on the front of the coin comparator CCW

If I'm correct that they are going to the tray, you could have the wrong shim in the coin optics. Are all three machines doing the same thing ??

No Buzz, the coins are accepted into the machine and give credits. They just seem to go down the chute which i believe is the overflow for the hopper rather than going into the hopper.
This is the only machine that does it.

Sadly I have had to use one of the machines for parts but have 2 good machines now running except for this fault.
