I have spent the last couple of weeks restoring an IGT S+ 'Fiesta Time"  I obtained replacement boards (Mother board and MPU) from Caroilne at http://www.midohioslotmachines.com/.
Caroline was very helpful and the boards arrived in good shape and worked perfectly.

The first 2 pictures iare of the component tray before and after.

Here are the pictures of the reels. As you can see on the center reel there is a sunburst logo that says "Club Magic" . I assume where that machine come from.

I used a power wire cup brush - both air powered (a die grinder)  and electric (angle grinder) to remove the rust, cleaned with wd-40 followed by laquer thinner. Then blew any debris off with compressed air.
I painted the inside of the cabinet as well as the component tray with a semi-gloss gray paint - called satin granite- the most closely matched the existing coloring.
The hopper metalic parts were painted with a 'hammered' finish
The 'shiny' parts were painted with a metallic paint. Stainless? steel parts were cleaned with the power brushes, 400 grit sandpaper, fine (0000) steel wool and finally rubbed down with a metal polish.
Chrome plated parts were cleaned with tthe fine steel wool and then with the metal polish.
Plastic parts were cleaned and shined with either plexiglass cleaner (clear) or auto plastic cleaner (opaque).

Below is a picture of the paints used and metal cleaner used. The second picture is the machine exterior.

What is the reel shelf done with?
Is that the stainless paint? or is that polished?

After cleaning it the shelf  was painted with the "metallic finish" spray pictured in my earlier post.
