The Williams machines look closer to saveable.  What caused the fire?  It almost looks like it started in the IGT machine.  Wow.

Thanks,
Wayne

Yeah seeing those machines makes my skin crawl.    Hope everyone was ok and this wasn't caused by a machine short.

I take it that the stairs were destroyed (dangling legs).

The fire wasn't started in his shop at all.  Someone on the second floor of the building (he's in the ground floor/basement) was cutting or welding pipes and the sparks caused the fire.  Somehow it traveled down to the basement and did a lot of damage in one of the rooms of his shop.

A lot of parts got destroyed, as well as several machines (the ones pictured, plus a few Odyssey machines and new touchscreen monitors), an old 1950's pitch-and-bat, and lots of other stuff.  Thankfully nobody was hurt, and while most of the rest of his shop suffered smoke damage, it's not a total loss.

I would be sick about this if it happened to me.  I feel bad enough as I look at the pics of what was obviously cool stuff.  His insurance probably won't give him anywhere near what they're worth.

Thanks for the pics,
Wayne

Yup, That's what I call.....
Overtime.... yes

I couldn't imagine if it happened to me. However we are seeing more fires now that no one has that expendable money they use to have.
No one can sell their stuff and usually it's all insured for more than one could sell it for. Then it gets stolen or burns up and you can collect the insurance money for the items that you couldn't sell before.
I'm not saying this is that scenario at all. Just that were seeing a lot of it because of the economy.
I hope he's able to recover from this. If he has insurance I would suggest he obtains a claims adjuster. (usually they find you first) You can't imagine how much your trusting insurance company will try to screw you when it's time for them to pay.  bawling
