Title: Found on Craigslist - is this a good deal?
Post by: dpalmi on June 06, 2013, 12:20:47 PM
Hello all!

I found this ad locally on Craigslist.  I don't know anything about antique machines.  Is this a good value?  I found a similar one that sold on eBay in April for $1,400 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-COLLECTABLE-COLUMBIA-DELUXE-5-CENT-SLOT-MACHINE-/121091951557 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-COLLECTABLE-COLUMBIA-DELUXE-5-CENT-SLOT-MACHINE-/121091951557)).  I am not really looking for or interested in an antique machine, but if it's a good investment or incredible deal - I would be willing to pick it up....

Thanks!

Looks to be a little below fair market value if it's all original except for the back cover and works well. Not mint condition, but not bad either

Price seems fair, but they are known to jam up a lot. I do have one and I know. Good Luck!!
