Just saw this on Craigslist. If I knew a little bit more about fixing on of these things I would pick it up. Just thought I would share it here. http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/ele/2671426703.html

I'd guess it's an "S", but we'd need to see the inside for sure.  I'm not sure that I'd go for it with the limited amount of "S" parts and knowledge around.

I was also trying to figure out what model it was, just in case I decide to give it a shot. I had thought that S models did not have LED's in the glass? I would have guessed that it was a pre-dbv model S+. Is it easier to find parts for an S+ than an S?

I have had one S and a couple of non-inbeded S+ and I don't recall the coin head being that close to the edge.  Scratch Head Scratch Head

Sooo, if it's an m or s and it needs more than say, a battery, how much would it be worth parts'd out on here or on ebay? Is it a win-win or lose-lose?

I'd say win-win because there are just not many of those around!
It may take some time to gather up all the needed parts to get that baby flying
smoothly again but owning a fully restored "M" machine would be like owning a Chief slot IMHO
Well...maybe not quite but still a rarity nevertheless!

Everything about looks the same as my S model.  Other than the change button color.

I would guess it at an S.  It's definitely not an M slot.  I attached a picture of and M slot, so the difference can be seen.

Thanks,
Wayne

It is an Intermediate cabinet, 3" narrower than a Wide Body (or regular size) machine, very common on riverboats and places where space was an issue in the late 80's

more than likely its a S model, however they did make Intermediate machines in S+.

both pictured machines are double diamond clones. dazzling diamonnd. white diamond.

if the board is in the back of the machine and has three plugs. its a S.

Jim, (Blueridge)which machine are you talking about? Jbshock's machine is narrower than the Craigslist machine. Looks to me that Jbshock's machine is the Intermediate machine.

OK. You guys talked me into going and taking a look. The seller said that he bought the machine from someone that had it taken apart. He put it back together, but can't figure out the wiring for the hopper. I am going to check it out later today. It is a a two hour drive so I hope it is not to bad of a POS. Sounds like he is going to try and sell me an Universal slot machine when I get there.  Must be an Ultra, because he said it is really big.  $250?

doing a little more research. It looks like this machine is the Dazzling Diamond machine that Millermaster1 was trying to fix back in Feb 2010."IGT Dazziling Diamonds Hopper wire help"

I see an S-slot manual(s) appeared on ebay. Suppose the seller saw this thread?
