This sounds like a good deal to me!  If it was in my area, I would be all over it.

Thanks,

That's a great price, although the RT pictured there appears to have a CRT -- perhaps he just grabbed a picture of a machine that looks like his.

I actually called and talked to the guy a couple of days ago.  He said the screen had been updated but from the looks of the picture its a bezel stuck on the front of the door or something.  I've really been wanting one of these but don't really want one I have to rebuild from the ground up.  Plus I'd like one with newer software and more games on it, he could not tell me anything about the boards, software version or anything.  Said he works for a company that fixes these up.  I would think if they fixed them up he would know more about the unit.  Been seriously considering looking at it but then I'd have to get the whole screen thing sorted out, would rather pay a little more and get one still in somewhat original condition I think.

Mike  In my opinion you should go take a look at this machine. Assuming that  it's a picture of the machine for sale, it has the two row button deck, dog ear speakers, printer, 19 inch LCD monitor, Game King glass, Round Top, and I'm pretty sure LED lights in the buttons. I mean everything that you would want is there. $400, if I lived within 250 miles of this machine I would be on my way to at least look at it.

Some LCD monitors are mounted to the door, I don't think that's something I would want but I guess it works. Because the seller says it has 9 games really doesn't mean a whole lot. You are can only program 12 games this doesn't mean that there isn't 59 games on the chip. Maybe in this case they only programed 9 games. Open door, press test button, touch set up, touch machine options, touch game selection, now you can see every game on the chip. If your just wanting to play poker or keno there isn't a thing wrong with a 3802 board. I think the going rate for a 3802 is between 50 and 75 dollars, a 3902 between 125 and 150 dollars you do the math. ( By the way I just got (26) 3902 boards, 16 of them have I Games on them )

I called the guy and its been sold.  Now I'm back to looking.  My local guy that I buy some of my machines from said he would make me a good deal on a GK.  That brings up a good point.  What should I look for on one of these games that will give me the most flexibility moving forward.

Look at the picture at the beginning of this thread, there it is, all the bells and whistles. Add coin handling, I don't know why because it's never used, and a 3902 board if it didn't have one already. Maybe you prefer a 17 inch monitor, I like the 19 inch, to me a 13 inch looks like a pimple on a fat girls butt.( 19 inch cabinet is 2 inches wider that a 17/13 inch cabinet.)

If you want to get right down to the very best, get a slant top. Bet that went over like a fart in church didn't it !! Why do you think Casinos are full of Slant Top poker machines ??
