I want this machine! Hmmmm...driving to local mountains Sunday...only need to go down dirt road into Apple Valley...catch the I15 and arrive in Vegas three hours later. Tempting.

I would go ahead and proceed to your original destination....just leave the mystery machine where it sits...unless its free. The haul-off fee is (well, SHOULD be) $100...

I know...I paid $40 for one that does all that except talk...but it makes a bunch of funny goofy sounds! Good enough for me!  rotflmao

I was a (very minor) member of a design team which built the first(?) talking poker and 21 machine, somewhere around 1979-80 I think it was.  Just after the TI speech chips came out, we called it the Speakeasy.  It was a thrill at the time, and I got to design the layout of systems in the cabinet, etc.
But in the end it's much ado about nothing, other than as a collectible I think.
