Thanks, Got the connectors assembled and confirmed the connections on the backplane at the RS485 and the J13 relay connector. Also ohm checked the 4 circuts. The ISO relay is present at position 1. I set 11d option#2 to a value of 4 and it throws a code 91 on the machine.  JW8 2 & 3 are jumpered and JW9 1 & 3 are jumpered.  I changed 11d option #2 to a value of 5 and get a C10 & C14 code on the meter followed by a "00". The Mikohn version is 2.05, stand alone. I've attached a pic. I went through the addr, disp & syst settings. Not sure where to go from here. Is there an auxillary program needed to finalize it?

I think their Pocket Guide covers this as well.

C10 = Progressive is not set up
C14 =The selected Machine Serial setting is not supported

You are probably getting these error's above due to not setting up the jackpot
correct in the psp setup under jackpot programming for Bally you want.

F3=SNGL
F4=M08
F8=MS00

You need to install the PSP software to program the Mikohn display
this should be done on an older pc with a 9 pin serial port 98 or xp works fine
the cable connects from the 9 pin port on the back of the pc to the main board of the Mikohn (female connection)

Its a bit of a learning curve the first time
once the psp is installed on your pc you get a dos screen pop up
in which to program the display.
Here is a few pointers and a screen shot of what you want it to read for a Bally

First enter password 135642 then F10
next hit Esc to enter main menu
then F1 for default path
now you will see the full program menu in which case
you select #1 which is Jackpot Programming

You only need to use the F3, F4, F8 to change the values
for Bally you want
F3 SNGL
F4 M08
F8 MS00
and Increment value I use .010.000 on a quarter machine
Hope this makes sense good luck and report back.

Tim
