Title: Looking for a replacement power supply FPS45-051212P
Post by: RTIInstaller on October 31, 2013, 04:31:53 AM
These old Freedom Power FPS45-051212P  power supply's for early 1990's Bally appear to be very hard to come by these days. Does anyone have an equivalent replacement suggestion that uses the same bolt pattern? I was thinking that one of the 6000 series supply's might work but i don't have the specs on those

+12volt +5volt -12volt

Thanks a bunch!

Thanks, I saw that one, but Foxes slots does not have the specs for that supply?  The supply I have looks almost exactly like this one -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/FREEDOM-POWER-FPS-45-051212O5P-POWER-BOARD-EXC-CONDITION-F5-/290994303509?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43c09cb215
However this one is used, I am hoping to find a new one that the caps haven't dried out in yet, so i don't have to worry about it again for another 20 years  :-)

I bought one of these from FOXSSLOTS and it is in my S5500.

Here's another

+5V/4A
+12V/2A
-12V/0.5A

Besides that power supply inside the metal box is a seperate large cap that could be dried up and a rectifier which may bad ?
