Title: Bill Validator Error

Hey everyone!

I just picked up an IGT S2000, but I'm having an issue.  When turning on, the bill selector makes noise (as if it's working), then the LED says "Bill Validator Error".  I can post a video if that helps.

Any ideas?

I would try to force a NetPlex Config first...even try a couple times. Menu 4.3..NetPlex Auto Config. When it's done, you should hear the BV cycle. lose door, and lift and latch the door latch a couple-few times afterwards to clear your stacked errors, and wait 30-40 seconds.

Other than that, I might ask that you tell us all of the stickers on the outside if the BV. Could you have a ID003 validator in an ID024 machine?

If you just purchased the machine the bv may have been upgraded before shipped.
After the machine boots up try lifting the door handle for more than  30 seconds then close door handle and see what happens.
