I have a machine that is set for a 98% payout. Its rediculous how often I am seeing people hit on  that thing. Have you all ever seen a machine that just wont lose? Sheesh. If only I could find a machine like this in a casino. Has there ever been a glitch in a 98% machine where it actually does lose money for an owner?

Tournament chips have an extremely high % payouts, some over 2000% payback - providing your game matches the chips.
See "Tournament" in the "Bible"...>>>

Yes they are available for S2000

You also need to be aware thatTournament chips dont function exactly the same as regular.
For instance you can set them to play for 3min. The concept is that you are playing in a tournament and after 3min (time is settable) the game ends and the person with the most credits wins.
While it is in this mode the machine does not accept coins or bills. You just bang on the spin button for the duration of the time.

Another option is a set number of spins - ie 100. This is not credits - this is a number of spins. Again the person with the most credits win.

I will also note that having a %% > 100 does not necessarily going to guarentee a win or a payout >100%
The way slot math works is that you have a pay table with XX sets of winning combinations. Each combination has a winning value.
The slot chooses 3 random numbers and if they match with the pay table then you extract a payout.
The difference between a 97% chip and a 98.5% chip might just be the addition of 2 extra sets of cherries on the internal table.

Because the numbers are random it is possible that they will NEVER land on any winning combination and the slot is not programmed to "force" percentages.
Now the probability of NEVER having a win is low but it is possible.

Think of a simple coin flip. It is possible that it will never land on heads. Flip it 1000 times and it more probable that you will get some number of heads. Flip it 10mm times and statistically it should round out to about 50/50.
Slot math is the same way. Its based on 10mm spins and the law of probablility makes the statistical payout most probablable.

Tournament chips have percentages around 1005% just to make things interesting.

I might be wrong as I don't own a S2k  but its my understanding that s2k can run any S+ set.

Not suggesting unethical brhavior but the S+ environment being based on EPROMs (duplicatable)  are more available than S2k simms

Sb001000 base does not support tournament chip type 14. So no, S+  tourny chips do not run in a S2000
