when machine is turned on and goes thru set up top screen dont inialize but reel spin and set up if i turn off machine and turn back on everything comes up perfect and game plays great      Paul

Which MPU are you running on that machine? Could be a green battery issue if it's a 1270 board. You might look at top box CPU also for failing caps or the main power supply for the same thing

Thanks for info I checked green battery and it shows almost dead will change and let you know how do you check caps if they show continuity they are bad      Thanks Paul

Green battery need is dictated by the MPU type. If it's a 500 series board then you don't need to worry about it.If it's a 1270 enhanced board then a dead green battery can cause various issues. Caps can somewhat be checked visually looking for bloating of the tops or signs of overheating like the wrap shrinking back from the top of the cap. They can't be checked for function without removing them and testing. Well, they can be I guess, but the testers for that didn't work very well if I remember correctly

I have the inhanced board so i will change battery and if it is not that i will look at caps thanks for your help will let you know what happens     Paul
