Hi all,

I am trying to get my S2000 game to change from "COIN-IN = CREDITS" to "COIN IN = GAME AND CREDIT". I have done this before on my other game and know where the setting is in the Key Config menu, but the game will not allow me to select "options" to get to the coin-in option to change it. I cleared all the credits and used my key chip, but the key config settings will not allow me to change it. I should not have to do a complete clear right?  Scratch Head

Any ideas?  Help

Thanks,

Rob

I have a S2000 VISION and I actually can make the change WITHOUT  the key chip... but I have the advantage of having the display screen..

I am interested in if you actually need the KEY chip on the regular S2000 to make this change?...  How about some help from our resident experts as I am (no I KNOW) i will soon be getting a regular S2000 and would also like to know the answer to changing the Mode ?  Scratch Head

Hello!

Yes - you need a Key Chip on a S2000 to change that setting.  It's in the Key Chip I menu - option 7.1.10.2 - set it to "Coins to game and credit" - you need to have no credits on the machine to change it.

What SG chips are in your machine?  Some games limit this option.

See attached:

I have been using the Key Chip 17. It would allow me to change the denomination settings, so I would assume it would also allow me to change the Coin-In option as well.

KEY 17 works with SG 399 ?

I think it works with it for just the basic settings that us home slot users do.  The advanced features for casino use do not from what I understand.
