I have a Jackpot Stampede slot with a DBV-145 that hasn't been updated in a long time and doesn't accept the newer style bills.  I've done a lot of searching and found some good info here about the code that's available (v3.40 being the most recent/last update for this model) but haven't had any luck tracking it down.  Is this available for download somewhere so I could burn an EPROM get it updated?  I've been to the JCM site and see they do have firmware, but couldn't find any for the 145.  Thanks for any help

Ben, welcome to NLG!. The trading and reqquesting of bin files is prohibited here on the forum. The gaming industry is rather rabid when it comes to copyrighted and licensed items. The 200 head which is interchangeable with the 145 can go as far as coloroed 10's.
If you go to the 200 head you will get 4 way bill acceptance, and make sure you change to the 200 power suppy as well because it is stronger than the 145.

You can not get colored 5's with the DBV series. You would need to move to the WBA series "IF" it is supported by your platform.

When I say IF ..... with the IGT S+ series IGT never authorized JCM to issue the colored 5's so even if you move up to the WBA series you can't get it to work.
Changing to the WBA involves changing the head, transport, cash can etc.....

Thanks for the info.  Definitely not trying to elicit anything illegal, was thinking/hoping it was something publicly available like firmware for DVD, MP3, etc. players.  I'll check out the sponsors as suggested and see what I can find.

He has the WMS platform, no external power supply and the new $5 is available for the DBV-200 in the SH head, just not the SS in IGT

Need to get the newest release on the DBV 145-SH ID011 (sigma 150+).  Or worst case scenario the 200-SH ID011---would it take the new 5's?
