Author Topic: DBV communitcation cable to the stacker  (Read 6256 times)

Does anyone have a comm cable that goes from the right side of the validator (looking at the front) to the stacker? I have one with a broken wire and figure it's probably just cheaper to find a good used one then try to repair this one (it's broke at the connector).

if you would have done that on sept.16th,
you would of had it back and working by now!...
I'm only 12 hours drive north of you...
or an overnighter package?
Post a pic of the broken wire and a good high def. close up shot of the pins...
you might be able to pull it out and re-crimp it!
If not, a touch of hot solder will do the trick!

That is what I was thinking.
My trick until I can get a replacement pin or new harness is to strip the broken wire and slip it into the connector where it broke from and a small drop of CA to tack the wire's insulation to the connector and being careful if I have to unplug that connector.

Here is a pic of the Harness between the Head and the Transport on a DBV-SS have both New and Used, also New harnesses to the cash box optics and such
