I am trying to set up a cham II on a Bally 6000 Monte Carlo. Everything was already there but I only see one relay chip on backplane board in Jackpot one. Is that all I need and what settings am I missing in the menu and I must be missing a setting on the cham II+ as well. Any help would be appreciated.  I see in groups on the cham SA0 Sa1 and so on. I did not notice just Plain SA like I put on the IGTs. Anybody know??
Thanks,
Tommy

I just ran across this the other day when I updated my CHAMII+ chip. I think this is on the newer chip, so I set it at SA0 and it worked, SA1 did not.

Thanks Ron, I will check this out. Do you also happen to know where the Bally needs to be set. I am new to these Bally's and reading the manual does not really help at all. Scratch Head

Sorry Tommy, I set mine up on a S-2000. All but a couple settings are the same for both Bally and IGT in the CHAMII+

On the Bally options, try setting the following:

2=4  (Serial Multiplex progressive interface)
7=1  (# of external jackpots)
78LO=1  (machine address)

When I set 2 to 4 Progressive link serial I get a 91-0 code. I had to rebirth my Chamm II. Do you happen to know the settings on PSP for the Bally 6000??
Thanks,
Tommy
