I am hoping someone can tell me about an issue i am having with my slot machine. When I turn it on it goes throug the intoduction speak and them all the lights just flash. The wimmer paid are states 8100. Any ideas?  Thanks

 :103-  are you still having this problem??  i hardly know jack about the older Bally machines but if you can figure out what the machine model is and also post up your eeprom versions, if you can get them, i'm sure we can help you figure out what the 8100 code is.  also check out the upload area and maybe you will find the manual for your specific machine! g/l

Bally Pro-slots have an 81 error (but not an 8100), which means that the battery is dead, and the lights would flash during this error. This is very common for 5500 series, and not as much so for the 6000 series. However, I'm not aware of pro-slots that "speak" when they are turned on.

I still am having problems but have more info to add as requested. Here is the Serial number: S020618080  Model Number: S62M3R6F0. Manufacture date is 06/02. I have a picture of the front of the machine showing the error code.  The lights do flash during this error code. Where would the battery be located and where would i be able to find a replacement?

That pic is a bally 6000, stat is right the battery is dead and needs to be replaced, after you replace the battery you will probably need to ram clear the machine. Depending on the mains in your machine, you may, or may not need the ram clear chips for this. The bally 6000's are well known for verbally stating the model of the version installed on the game, ours does it all the time, when they are powered up. If memory serves it staes "bally prosound developer version _____ and the year"

like i stated earlier i don't know much about these earlier Bally games but your safe storage battery should be on the mpu.  the mpu is the main circuit board with your game chips on it; it's on a metal tray that slides out from underneath the shelf that the reels sit on.  i'm not sure what color the battery is but it should be at 3 volts when it's good, it's probably soldered onto the board.
