Does anyone have any inside cabinet pictures for an IGT S+ ?
I'm trying to fix my S+ which I bought, but it was part of a management system so
some wires are really messed up (like the door switch wires, no Idea where to put them!)
Any inside cabinet pictures are very welcome!

Hope i will ever get it to work, if I do, I'll post pictures as well.
(some of you may remeber the machine, it was the Magic fifty, posted pics on the old site)

I think it's usefull to put of the pictures of my own cabinet,

You might want to check the "submit a new file" section under S+ Field Service Manual. It's rather large
and may take a while to down load but worth it.

In reply of my own pictures,

1. The max bet button and spin buttons are connected to another wire this runs to the other side of the cabinet and my guess it's also connected to the reset switch.
2. None of my door switches are connected, where do I connect them to?
3. In the center you will see an wire looped back, is this normal?
4. Some other loose wire
5. Top box, I removed the progressive power supply and all wires going to the 'SMA5' device which I also removed
6. Can I remove this wire?

The pinkish color on the motherboard need to be connected.

The four above the cpu needs to be connected.

The door switch for the stacker box can be tied together and all the other door switches can come out.

Since I am still a little foggy this morning .. this is just a start for you to work on.

Thank you all very much, Especialliy neonkiss, I see I have a lot of extra wiring that I can remove.

When you remove it, just cut the wire ties holding that part of the wiring you are going to take out.
Do not cut the wiring.

Did I see parts of a progressive system (and if it is complete) hold on to it. you may want to put it back into the machine later.

indeed I want to have an progressive in it, and did not take out that,
the machine (I guess) was originaly managed by some sort of system, with
numerous wires al leading to a little blue box with 2 network connections on it.
So I first want to remove that. The wires that I did cut (2 or so) where part
of that system and not for the progressive (I hope so).
Last thing I want to remove are (extra?) wires with the buttons, seems to run with
every spin or max bet button and the arm, but isn't connected to anything.
I guess a progressive gets it's info from the CPU board and not from a button or am I terribly wrong?

The reason that I'm removing all these wires is that when I put my CPU board in and
powering up I see a very quick blink of the credits meter. After a 1 second hold of the
reset button nothing happens. So I would like to accomplish a basic setup first and then
build from there. I made a mistake (in the beginning) by puttin my clear chip in the reel
socket instead of the game socket, that might have broken my clear chip. (I did install
it in the proper direction)

Does your clear chip still work, I wonder?

I'm wondering too :P
But I fear that it doesn't work, because it's not resetting my machine.
I should find the checksum for the chip so that I can check it in my EPROM reader.
