Post by: coorslight115 on November 16, 2010, 12:07:51 AM My new toy, s-2000 upright has the normal reset switch and key in the normal location and works the way it should...but there is a second switch right next to it that takes a barrel key :103- What is that for?? The same color wires go to it as the reset. Have not traced them, thought i would ask first.

I would take the money and run like hell! Or I guess a person would want the jackpot amount transferred to a Ticket to take to the cage??

If someone's playing a $10 video poker machine full coin ($50 per spin) and hit a flush that pays $1250, they likely want to continue playing. Jackpot to credit would allow an attendant to do the W-2G paperwork and then flip the key to add that "jackpot" to the credit meter. Title: Re: Two reset switches? Whenever a guest hit over the taxable limit the attendant turned the W2G Switch. The award went to credits and the win data went to a specific module in the accounting system. Then when the guest cashes out or quits the attendant hands him a printout of his entire session on that machine and he completes the paperwork to go to the IRS. It is a good way for whales or semi-whales to monitor their winnings along with their standard win-loss reports. I remember one guy spending $100,000 in one session lost most of it but he did hit taxable jackpots every few minutes. Casinos want people playing not filling paperwork.
