I have a bally game maker and it is not accepting coins.If the door is open I can insert a quarter and it goes through as if it is working,I close the door and drop in a quarter it kicks it back out to the tray.When I open the door and go into the diagnostics menu and do a test I drop the coin in and it kicks out to the tray? I don't get it. Any help would be great.And thank you as always for helping!

Do you have a quarter in the coin comparitor? Does the BV work? How many credits are on the machine? Is the machine in the Demo mode? Pokernut Title: Re: game maker not recognizing coin comparitor? Post by: jer3270 on November 27, 2010, 01:38:40 PM Hi, I have a quarter in the comparitor,bv works great, and I have 40 credits on the machine.When the door is open quarters will go in the proper chute to the hopper.When the door is closed they go into the payout tray like its rejected. I tried doing the bv test and coin in test on the diagnostic menu,and excepts and reads bills no problem put a coin in and it will go to the payout tray.It's like the comparitor is turned off when the door closes or the machine is not recognizing it's there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks again!

Might not need to do the clear. Go into setting and check your current configuration. These are the setting I use. Should be good for your machine.
