Title: Help with S2000 044 board enhanced sound. Post by: IFFV68 on November 28, 2010, 05:36:18 PM I have a S2000 machine with the 044 board, the board says enhanced sound.
The chip is a SNDF, DSV00042 Question is, I don't have the enhanced sound menu? I cannot get the enhanced sound to work. I believe I have the regular sound. Whats up? The SB chip pulls the sounds out of the DSV00042 SIMM card. I think there are 58 sound files flashed onto a DSV00042. I could be wrong on this as I will never have a SIMM reader/burner in my lifetime...lol I wonder if it will fit into the memory slot on my old desktop computer? :129- Title: Re: Help with S2000 044 board enhanced sound. Ask around for the PSR sheet for that game and maybe there will be some info as to what sound choices you have? The Display chip (DSPL0002) probably has nothing to do with your sounds. Usually you can get into the sounds via the menus. Are you sure that's the right DSV SIMM for your game? Title: Re: Help with S2000 044 board enhanced sound.
