I have a video slot machine from  VLC  (pretty old I think 1996)
a little gift from a friend

I'm working on it to give her life again.

I allready fix the monitor (wellsgardner 19 inch CGA)

I have this problem on the mainboard

it's report ERROR 96

TEMPORARILY OUT OF ORDER

ROM CHANGE DISABLE STATE

my board id is :
ROM identification is 111-141-121D
PAL is 117-09F8

Dallas Ds1260  Battery is ok :  3 volt
there is also an adapter with 2 Backup ram and Watch battery (3volt)

I will be happy if someone could give me some options.

I've got the same problem on mine,
same chips and pal rom..

some bodie have an idea about that problem ??
could it possible to fix it ? or we need to change the mainboard ??
