Title: Bally S6000 83F3 error
Post by: solareon on November 28, 2010, 09:37:30 PM
I have a bally hotlines S6000 that I am getting a 83F3 error on. The original problem was a low battery so I swapped U28, u43, u20, and u18 to the new board. Matched the jumpers up on the new board to the old one, ran the clear chips 5 times with CL C being the final result.

Put the u43 and u28 back in and it boots up to the 83F3 error with all the lights flashing.

Ideas?

You need to change the dip switches to match what was on the old board.  Your market code doesn't support the denomination you set it for (dip switches).

Thanks,

I thought that was what I did but I may have screwed it up. Is there a document of all the dip switch settings so I can make sure I have the right settings?
