Title: BONUS SIZZLING 7 TOP LIGHT BAR Post by: Ron (r273) on December 02, 2010, 02:53:02 AM I just change this game from a S+ to a S-2000 including changing to SB and SG chips along with the SIMM card. Everything works fine except the plug
on the light bar has a 15 pin molex male/female. Has anyone figured how to connect it to the top box of the S-2000? Of course I need to change the bulbs to 12/14V. The only connectors in the S2000 top box for the most part are SENET, Netplex Sound, Power and a connection to the communications board in the Power Distribution box behind the hopper. Might be another connector or 2 but nothing like the 15 pin in S+ top box. The 15 pin molex in the S+ harness also has the candle wires, making a total of 17 wires in one bundle. WOW! The 15 pin molex only has 13 wires running to it. All the wires come from the CPU on the top left corner. I would suspect a S-2000 harness (if such an animal) would come from various places including the mother board. Since I am not an electrical engineer I will not be figuring it out. Guess I have to be satisfied with playing it without the light bar. :37- Pretty cool sound though, with the DSV00015. Ron (r273) Title: Re: BONUS SIZZLING 7 TOP LIGHT BAR Post by: StatFreak on December 03, 2010, 03:03:40 AM It's just a wild guess, but I would expect any such peripheral to be run through NetPlex on an S2000, so comparing (or trying to adapt) the S+ light bar with the S2000 version would probably be apples and oranges.

Turn the lights on, turn the lights off, a button was pushed. Real basic functions
