the following is a ebay message I received from a VERY UPSET CUSTOMER - guy bought an item - paid thru PAYPAL - and this is what I just got - seems he feels that PAYPAL gives out credit card info.....   

Just to let you know as I informed you about bad experiences with Pay Pal you are now one. After sending you my information on my credit card somebody spent $29.20 of my hard earned cash on a porn site. I have only released my credit card information to you and you alone and the person had ALL my information I sent to you only. Just to let you know some one there is a thief and a pervert. I am having my bank investigate it and hopefully get the e-mail address and or phone number to this sicky. I will never do Pay Pal again as this could have been avoided if you had sent a mailing address as requested by me (several times) in a timely manner so I could have sent a money order as planned. My only hope now is that I actually receive the item you took more of my money for. So I am saying straight up you need to check your house for a perverted thief.

If he paid Paypal you did not get his info. He better check in his own house.

 This guy really thinks PAYPAL gave me his charge card info?  or he thinks he gave it to me AND used PAYPAL?   Guy really has some emotionally issues -  I understand how it feels to get ripped off - credit card theft is rampant - but most people know what they did to get into the problem in the first place - but to go on a RANT without THINKING - man this guy needs other help than the law.   SO - I will continue to look in my house for that PERVERT he thinks resides there -  will make sure I avoid mirrors.

Iam sorry Pay pal told me you were responsible for the information that they were just the middle man.  Pay Pal most definately pointed the finger at you, this however is typical of them. Please understand me being upset, it may not be much to anyone else but it was my gas money for the week.  I still have not received the items you did send them correct? Any way my bank is on it and we will find the culprit and will attempt to prosecute.

I receive payments all the time from people paying by paypal, and they never sent me the credit card info.  :279-

I think I'll call Paypal and ask for the names, credit card numbers, maiden names, birth dates, social security numbers, wife's name, name of the dog, type of car they drive, weight, height, and color of eyes of anybody that sends me payments.

If it were me and the item has not shipped yet I would refund his money and more along.

If it is already shipped I would bet he will say he never got the item and file a claim with paypal.

Please inform him that his PC may be infected with spyware or malware that is stealing that information right as he is typing it in and sending it off.

That's THE most likely source for the theft.
