Title: IGT S+ no sound Post by: B-52BadByron on December 04, 2010, 02:30:59 PM I have an S+ with a 1048 chip, no credits on machine and DIP switches 1-3 on, all others are off. The bill validator and the coin validator all work. I have moved the sound volume switch on top of the MPU, with no luck. The speaker wires are connected to the speaker and futher up on the wireing harness. I have no sound at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You said that you've moved the "switch" on top of the MPU board -- were you talking about rotating the blue volume dial? Did you hear any static or anything when you rotated it? I plugged in another speaker and the sound worked fine. Thanks for your help.
