Title: Tournament Requirements Post by: aplmak on December 07, 2010, 02:02:42 AM :103- Ok I am sure this is a stupid question but I need help. Some of the most simplest things are not so simple for me. I have a IGT S+ Double Jackpot Haywire and an IGT S+ Triple Diamond Deluxe... I'd like to put these both in tournament mode to have a competition... How do I tell if I have the right chips and if I do an easy explination of how to get into the mode... Any quick answers anyone can bless me with?? Much thanks in advance!!!

You MUST have these chips in order for your machine to get into "Tournament" mode. http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%20Tourney/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Tournament.htm (http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%20Tourney/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Tournament.htm) It doesn't look like they made a tournament chip chip for your game though... Here are a quick link to some of the relevant areas pertaing to your question. First you need to identify which chips are in your machine. http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/SPSS.htm (http://www.newlifegames.net/spset/SPSS.htm) Generally speaking you have 2 chips a SP and a SS chip. The SP is the game chip which controls many of the machine features and then you have your SS chip which determines which theme you would have. If you have a Tournament set of chips you would have a ST instead of a SS chip. Next here is a listing of what Tourney chips are known to exist, http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%20Tourney/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Tournament.htm (http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%20Tourney/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Tournament.htm) Does your SS/ST chip match up to one of these numbers ??? Asumming you have a Tournament chip in your machines you would then use the relevant PSR to change modes from standard play to tournament chips. a PSR is called a Program Summary Report and it describes how to program your machine through the use of the Self Test Button it matches up with the SP chip in your machine. I have included one here as an example. if you post back with your chip numbers some kind soul might send you the relevant documents for your chips.
