On The Back Of This Display, Is A Ribbon Cable--Pluged Into The Unit--And A 2 Cond Power Cord.
On The Board--Is A DIP Switch--With 4 Swiches.
What Do The DIP Swiches Do?

You gotta give us a little more to go on -- there was more than one LED progressive display made for slot machines.  Is it a spectrum display?  If so, the DIPs (in part) control color, test patterns, and other functions.  If you don't know what you have, a few pictures of your display would go a long way in helping us answer your question.
