On The Board--Is A DIP Switch--With 4 Swiches. What Do The DIP Swiches Do? Is it a spectrum display? If so, the DIPs (in part) control color, test patterns, and other functions. If you don't know what you have, a few pictures of your display would go a long way in helping us answer your question.
