The NETPLEX system is a distinct communication channel and protocol (language) for serial communication between the processor board and other complex auxiliary devices within an IGT machine with an 80960 processor. A QUART chip on the processor board facilitates bi-directional serial NETPLEX communications. Standard complex auxiliary NETPLEX devices include: Vision™/S2000™ Game King® • Bill Acceptor • Bill Acceptor • LCD (Vision™ only) • EZ Pay™ Ticket Printer • EZ Pay™ Ticket Printer • Touchscreen • Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) Title: Re: What Is NETPLEX? I am working on a printer from future logic PSA-66-STN. Currently it is configured in NETPLEX communication mode. And the gaming machine with which this printer connects also working on NETPLEX communication mode. I want to recieve the data that the gaming machine is sending to the printer. Currently, i have no luck with it, i am just recieiving all garbage. Please advice me on this issue..... Also i want to know a little about netplex protocol.... Can the data be intercepted on the RS232 port ? because the netplex data is also on a certain baud rate. I will appreciate your help Thanks |
