"On IGT games, some Netplex communication tilts may be cleared by
powering down the machine, removing the device and powering the
machine back up (including the monitor if the touch screen is problematic).
Power the machine down, reconnect the device, and power up. This has
saved us a great many hassles since we figured this out. This works for
Printer Communication Failures (with Seiko printers) and touch screen
problems that invariably occur during bonus rounds. I haven't tried it with
other Netplex-related issues"
