Title: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: AffordableSlots on January 03, 2011, 06:39:04 AM I have a chance to buy a few Bally 6500 Machines... At least that is what I was told they were. I didnt find anything on the web about them. I wont be able to buy them until they are picked up from the casino bid and driven here to phoenix, AZ. One of my contacts told me I have first dibs on them when they arrive, I jest need to let him know now if I want them. only asking $200 each... Complete working machines that are still on the casino floor until next week, so they still use them in casinos.
Anyways.... My question is... are they similar to a Bally 6000? what are the major differences? are they hard to work on or get parts for? Thanks, Bryan Title: Re: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: a69mopar on January 03, 2011, 03:05:19 PM I don't believe there is such a Bally model, at least recent enough to be in a casino anyway. I would ask for a picture or 2. They are likely either s5500 or s6000 machines. You never know though, they could be anything.
Thanks, Wayne Title: Re: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 03, 2011, 04:37:15 PM If they are INDEED Bally 6500's, I doubt that they would be taken out of a casino.
Parts for this hypothetical model would be NON-Existent... It would be like getting parts for the 2012 Chevrolet - it doesn't exist yet. :96- Title: Re: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: Worldwide Gaming on January 03, 2011, 05:24:01 PM Never heard of such a thing...

Post by: AffordableSlots on January 03, 2011, 05:59:39 PM Thanks for all your input, I got a hold of my contact and he told me they were on his sheet for the machines he was acquiring. I have never head of a 6500 either... I will keep you updated, when I get them I will take pics if they are 6500's. It could have been a typo and meant Bally 6000's.

Title: Re: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: AffordableSlots on January 04, 2011, 02:19:38 AM Do they still even have Bally 6000's in use in the casinos anymore? The ones I'm getting are still on the casino floor.

They're in New York state casinos as well as up in Casino De Montreal in Quebec, Canada... I've even seen Bally 5500's in full-time floor operation. Title: Re: Has anyone heard about or seen a Bally 6500? Post by: a69mopar on January 04, 2011, 02:34:31 AM The casinos near me have a bunch of them. The bank of Blazing 7s they have look worn out but have people lined up to play them every time we go.
