Title: Looking for A Haywire Game Kit
Post by: edison on January 05, 2011, 04:36:44 PM
Does anyone know :103- where I might find a complete Haywire Game kit for a S2000 Upright w/9" top? I preferr a Double Diamond or Triple Diamond or Delux (Haywire) w/ backlit reel strips. I need all the glass, reel strips and software. I have searched high and low already. :279- It seems like this game is hard to find. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Edison

Hi,
Those are really hard to find. One alternative that I used
is to get a Dbl diamond kit and a SB100156 haywire base chip.
This will give you the functionality of a DD haywire while
you try to find haywire belly glass. The only other
difference is that you need to offset the DD reel
strips several stops. If you do a search for SB100156
you should find the posts dealing with the offset.

Having the haywire a suprise is even better
in my opinion.  :89-

We'll you all are looking at my new Double Diamond Haywire. That's it on your right! I would like to thank New Life Games for letting me post my request on their website   :244- Next I would like to thank Jason  :244- for hooking me up with Samron Slots. But most of all I would like to thank Bob   :244- with Samron Slots for selling me a great DD Haywire kit. He carefully explained everything to me that was involved. He also let me call him anytime I had a question and made me feel like he really didn't mind at all. Thanks everyone I am a happy camper now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  :3- :3- :3-

Congratulations!
The 3 coin Haywire always was and still is my favorite game.
I've tried all kinds of games from different kits I've bought but that one always
seems to find it's way back into my cabinet! lol

Everyone that comes to my house and sees it is always remarking:
"Oh! You have a Haywire? Wow!"  :72-

SB100156 is the Double Diamond Haywire, that one I have.
I noticed it does not re-spin (haywire) as much as the original Haywire would.
What about plain Haywire 3CM 3R that matches the S+ Haywire?
I know I can use SB001000 and a S+ SS chip but I want the matching Base chip if it was made.

There is no Haywire game for the S2000 3 reel.  There is a 3 reel plus bonus reel version however.

There is also a Haywire Deluxe for the S2000.

I have a Haywire Deluxe S+ machine that I designed the reels and glass for myself as I only had the chips.  Then had a local printer print the reels on mylar than glass.  I called it "Short Circuit".  I'll try to remember to post a pic tonite.  It looks pretty good for someone with little graphics background.

That looks nice, JRR4!

WMS beat you to the idea by a few years, though -- they made a Haywire-like game called Short Circuit around 1995.
