I have not heard of this one before. Have you run through the maintenance tests in the manual, especially test #5 ? In my experience many malfunctions in these older bally machines are due to bad/dirty contacts. I'd suggest gently cleaning the contacts of your I/O board, all your Real Reader boards and the Reel Control board.
