Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: idesign on January 14, 2011, 05:11:33 PM ..................... and voltage is 6 volts. Can be replaced with pinball LED bulbs but have to trim them at the bottom otherwise they are too tall and prevent the buttons from being fully depressed.
Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: jdkmunch on January 14, 2011, 05:26:28 PM ok - that's my main question - which LED bulbs to use - I love LOVE the crisp clean white light they give off.
They make the machine look like new Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: idesign on January 14, 2011, 05:31:03 PM Here is a link. Buy spares while you are at it

Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: idesign on January 14, 2011, 05:38:41 PM You use them in yours and your happy with the brightness? Yes, they are brighter than the ones I got from MCM or Happ. 6 volts isn't much so they light up pretty good. Not as bright as the 12 volts in the I games and S2000 though but still pretty bright. Also, no hot to the touch buttons too. Like I said, you will have to trim the bottom of the plastic to make them fit better though. Here is a photo of what it looks like. What is the difference between W1 and W2 white bulbs? it looks like W2 is SUPER WHITE I think that's the one I want Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: idesign on January 16, 2011, 08:17:05 PM Get the W1 LEDs. I sent the owner a message and he said the W1's are brighter and whiter than the W2's.

Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: jdkmunch on January 29, 2011, 12:13:24 AM Absolutely spectacular! What a difference. Thanks for the link - It took a whopping WEEK before I got them after they SHIPPED but it was well worth the wait. It should have taken only one day.
Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: knagl on January 29, 2011, 02:56:28 AM They're a really small business and I've read previous complaints (from the pinball community) about slow turn-around, but the other hand their prices are really fair, so if you're not in a rush to get them, they're good option.
They look great in your game, jdk. Title: Re: BlueBird Deck Bulbs Post by: jdkmunch on January 29, 2011, 09:05:11 AM Your 100% right - these bulbs were $1.00 each -
I went to several other places and they were no less than $3.00 each. Although I'm impatient - it was well with the wait. |
