Title: motherboard dip switches
Post by: jeffro1 on January 15, 2011, 02:23:46 AM
Hello all, I think I've read here that I can turn off volume on reel spin by turning off one of the dip switches on motherboard. I cant seem to find any dip switches anywhere on motherboard. Are they hiding somewhere or maybe it doesnt have any?   Heres a pic of the board.Thanks.

I just put my glasses on and I found the switches!  thanks anyway :200-

FYI, it looks like you have a SP872 which does use the dip switches. However, newer SP chips ignore the dip switch settings and all changes are done with with software settings. Keep that in mind if you upgrade your SP chip.

Turn the blue volume pot down. It's over near the dip switches. When the board is in the machine, CW turns it down. It's the little blue dial that sticks out of the slot at the top of the board.

JDKMunch used to stick a couple of long tube socks down in
the coin tray under the door to reduce the volume... :72-
