Title: motherboard dip switches Post by: jeffro1 on January 15, 2011, 02:23:46 AM Hello all, I think I've read here that I can turn off volume on reel spin by turning off one of the dip switches on motherboard. I cant seem to find any dip switches anywhere on motherboard. Are they hiding somewhere or maybe it doesnt have any? Heres a pic of the board.Thanks.
I just put my glasses on and I found the switches! thanks anyway :200- Title: Re: motherboard dip switches Post by: stayouttadabunker on January 15, 2011, 02:47:50 AM lol
I'm glad you found it! I was gonna use my favorite photoshop program to show you. Ah...let's put it up anyways...lol Title: Re: motherboard dip switches Post by: poppo on January 15, 2011, 02:50:40 AM FYI, it looks like you have a SP872 which does use the dip switches. However, newer SP chips ignore the dip switch settings and all changes are done with with software settings. Keep that in mind if you upgrade your SP chip.

It's over near the dip switches. When the board is in the machine, CW turns it down. It's the little blue dial that sticks out of the slot at the top of the board.
