Title: CaptainHappy needs our support Post by: StatFreak on January 20, 2011, 07:57:36 AM I want to take a moment to let everyone know that CaptainHappy's father passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this past Sunday. Mark had been home visiting his family these past few weeks and had just been out to dinner with his dad the night before.
Understandably, he's not up to participating on the site right now, but he asked me to let everyone know on his behalf. I hope you will join me in keeping Mark and his family in our prayers during this very difficult time. Please accept my condolences. I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. When my dad died - it left me with such a heartache. I missed him so bloody much. It takes time but it eventually heals with the love of my family. They will give you the strength to get through this rough time. Very Sorry to hear of your loss. The passing of a loved one is never easy. He will live on in your memories and those of others. When my mother passed it was the stories of how she touched others lives that brought me the most comfort. Dont be afraid to reach out. I just showed your posts to my family and they were very appreciative. It is tough going, but things will eventually get better. I will give more information later, but is was sudden, unexpected, and thankfully fast so there was no long suffering. If you have to go, going fast is best.
