Volume is software based only.

When you turn it on do you hear a bong sound?

If so how many?

If none report back and make sure accidentally the sound jumper did not come off on the board (P7 I think at the top right corner towards the backplane connector)

Hi when I turn on the machine on bong at all. I looked at the back plane board and did not find any wires unpluged. I tried to do a reset with a clear chip again and it went to the 40 mark. shut off machine and replaced xu3 again with no luck. Still no sound.

Did the sound work before?

Did you remove or change the game roms like the sound?

There is a jumper  in the upper right corner as seen in the attached picture (in the 8MB chip position I think)   +5 is for a 4 MB

It seems almost silly to mention it, but make sure that the coin tray is firmly seated as the speaker is in the coin tray.  Also, check the connector on there (and its mate in the cabinet) to make sure that it's not damaged and is making a good connection when the coin tray is in place.

(Also, this could stand to be moved to the WMS reel category.)
