I also need to remind my readers that the problems listed are actual quotes from repair tags floor techs filled out, so when the problem states “No Cartoons” it means the monitor was in blackout condition. Post by: Belbtech on January 22, 2011, 02:12:05 PM It may help to know that chirping is pronounced like it is spelled churping (like bird in a tree chirp, chirp, chirp, etc...)...it happens when the power supply tries to start but has a bad component & can't initalize, so tries to start & can't, so it tries to start & can't, so it tries to start & can't, etc... The constant start & stop causes the power supply section of the monitor to chirp like a bird...if you hear it you'll know...

I have one question on the repair log for the 1942 ceronix... What is meant by Problem, No Cartoons.? We use the 1492 and 1493 ceronix in our scoring monitors on the Brunswick Framewox scoring. I have replaced bad flybacks, but hopefully this will help me fix other problems too... :103-
