Do most games require 512 mb of RAM? If the game was originally written for 256MB, it just wont use the rest. I've never had issues using any games on my 512MB NXT conversion. If you do get a 256MB system, you can just replace the memory. It uses PC133 DRAM SO-Dimm (Laptop Memory from WAAAAAYYYY back)
