I'm hoping someone can help me find a piece of glass for an older Aristocrat machine, or at least put me in contact with someone who might be able to help. Looks like someone punched the belly glass and chattered it. Can any one tell me a model number or year of this machine.

Looks like an Aristocrat Esprit to me, I think you have two chances of finding one, buckley's & Fu#k all. Sorry these are around mid 80's so 25 years old.

You could try your local slot distributors. Perhaps they might still have an old one somewhere. Personally I wouldn't worry about it. It is still staying together isn't it? Also you are not moving it to open the machine are you?

The glass has edges that stick up and are very sharp. I have small children and grand kids that come over. I don't want to see any one get cut. I just thought by a small change I could find a replacement. I know it's slim to non but it's worth a try...

The laminate doesn't look damaged, at least in the picture. I wonder if someone could remove the award laminate and put it on a new piece of glass for you? :128-

As a temporary fix you can put some strips of clear packing tape over the front of the glass. That will help hold it together and help prevent cuts. And it won't be very noticable.

I don't know if the back of the glass painted or has the award laminated to the glass. I did think of seeing if I could remove the glass and have it scanned and make a paper or vinyl copy, then put it under a piece of clear glass. I'm just not sure where I could take it to have that done and to the size I need it in..  :103-

It looks to be laminated. Just look at the back and see if the cracks are all the way through. The tricky thing would be removing the laminate without damaging it.

You can use a heat gun to loosen up the adhesive.
