Title: Texas Pinball Festival Post by: Magicslots on February 03, 2011, 07:26:30 PM If anyone is interested, or will be in or near the area in late March, here is some info on the
Texas Pinball Festival: http://www.texaspinball.com/showinfo.htm (http://www.texaspinball.com/showinfo.htm) I will be going Friday and/or Saturday. Its a great place to pick up all kinds of LED's for your slots :89- There are some great deals to be had on machines and parts(even though I have no place to put a pinball machine :8-) and even some slots. Last year there were two super clean Barcrest for sale, (didn't have the room for them either) :37- or I would have bought one of them... Is that only at the swap meet event? Quote The Texas Pinball Festival is hosting our 10th annual Texas Arcade/Pinball Swap Meet in the front parking lot of the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center from 8:00am-12 noon, Saturday March 26th. Admission to the Swap Meet/Flea Market is free to all guests. Vendors are welcome to bring anything coin-op related (pins, vids, jukes, slots, parts and project machines for this outdoor event. Got a machine taking up space in your garage? Too many projects? Too many parts? Bring'em to the swap meet! Only 4 hours for the swap meet? :103- Not sure if it would be worth the drive and either have to run through it in that time frame, or only find a coupl of sellers. What are they thinking? :25- Title: Re: Texas Pinball Festival Post by: Magicslots on February 03, 2011, 08:16:09 PM No :60- :60- :60-
The swap meet is outside in the parking lot. Its for people to trade sell etc, outside of the regular festival. Some guys bring truckloads of stuff/parts/games to sell in the swap meet. It got pretty well rained out last year. But there are some great deals to be had outside. There are tons of vendors inside who sell stuff the whole time. :89- I bought a huge amount of different types/colors of LED's last year from vendors inside. There are all kinds of vintage pinball machines etc inside for sale, and about all the free pinball you could want to play for a while! :71- As far Slot parts? you can never tell. But there are tons of bulbs of all kinds, LED's switches etc! :3- :3- Title: Re: Texas Pinball Festival Post by: poppo on February 03, 2011, 08:23:35 PM Ok, that sounds more like it. I might drive up for the weekend. I have friends and family in the area that I haven't seen in a while.
