Title: WMS 550 Video Slot
Post by: nextdrink on February 03, 2011, 10:35:00 PM
Im thinking about buying a WMS 550 game. It is the Hot toppings. With some other chips Who Dunnit and Cash Crop. Do you think a thousand dollars is too much? and if I buy it where could I find a manual for it.
Thanks Mark
It is a upright with all of the bill validation and coin mechs.

The price being "too much" depends on a lot of factors.  Is it an upright, slant top, or bartop machine?  What part of the country are you located in?  What condition is the machine in?  Does it have a bill validator, hopper, etc?

If the seller doesn't have the manual for it, you could try posting in the classifieds section of the forum here.  It's possible that someone here may have an extra copy of it and may give it to you, too.  If you have a specific question or problem, you can post that here and someone will chime in and help you, free of charge.

I don't think you'll get it for 1000 - that's very cheap

There's been a guy locally (Twin Cities) trying to sell one on Craigslist for $1,000 for months with seemingly no takers, since he keeps re-listing it.  I think it depends on the factors I mentioned above, chiefly location.  In Nevada, I don't think a 550 would be worth $1K.  Elsewhere, yes.
