Title: VLC Winning Touch M# 8724 Post by: waltervan on February 08, 2011, 09:40:24 PM Last week I picked up a VLC 8724for $50 I get it home and start checking it out I found it has a dead battery on the access board. I am now waiting for the replacement battery to come in some time this week. I managed to find a slot machine seller here in Houston that has a clear ROM he will use on it for $65. Dose this sound like a good price I think so but what are the chances I will not need to have the clear rom used on this machine?

Is $65 a good price? If he's making a housecall, sure, it sounds fine. It's either $65 to him and getting a working machine, versus having a slot machine-shaped boat anchor. For kicks, before you spend the money, try the instructions in this post (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=399.msg3368#msg3368) after you change your battery (assuming the game still doesn't work after the battery change).
