Title: Dimensions of an S+ slant top
Post by: crgadyk on February 10, 2011, 05:32:40 PM
I'm picking up two S+ slant tops from Ohio Gaming tonight (thank you BTW) and I just had a really SMRT thought. I never got measurements on them to see how big of a pain they are going to be to get them into my basement. Anyone have dimensional measurements of a slant top machine?

I got a 3 seater couch down there so I'm guessing it should be ok but I was just hoping to know how big of a hassle I'm going to have tonight before I get started. One way or another, they are going to end up in my basement but I'm hoping I don't have to cut walls down to get them there  :5- :279-

You better get a couple of football players too...
They are heavier than "The Biggest Loser"!!!

just over 300Lbs I believe...

My friends and I can handle the weight... I'm just nervous about the dimensions. I don't want to have to turn it upside down or anything crazy like that to get it through the door lol

Take out as much as you can like the hopper, cash can, etc. before you lug them down there. Every less pound helps.  :89-

Sorry, I don't have the dimensions of a slant top.

28" wide and 32" deep with the arm rest. Their not that hard to move.

Thats what I like to hear.

I was fully prepared to make some drywall modifications in my basement to open up the access from the stairs so one way or another they will get down there.
Not sure the warden would be too happy about it but she'd have to learn to enjoy a more open concept staircase  :72-

Its funny that you mention that... there has been a couple of people here in the office that has said the same thing. Not so sure that me cussing out my house and a piece of electronics will be youtube worthy but it could be entertaining at least.

I hope you don't plan to move them back up the stairs anytime soon ever.

Cussing in 3 different languages won't get it downstairs any easier . But it will make you feel better if you damage anything on the way down  :8- :8- :37- :37-

I bought my slant top from craigslist and the guy had it in his basement.
We used my appliance dolly that has a strap to move it.
If you can get one of those, it will be much easier to move.

yeah we have a dolly. It was late getting home last night so for now we just moved them into the garage. I'm very excited to have them in my possession. Thanks again to Ohio Gaming for the machines.
