In the unlikely chance you are still looking, I'd be glad to help. I'm going to tackle a switch to LCD since my monitor is fading. Beside, too many little old lady's clicking quarters on the face (was setup as keno)

Wonder what your other symtoms were, as I'm thinking my dead video is the result of something other than the VDU unit perhaps? IF you were just a bit closer I'd be willing to do the swap with you to see which way things would go..
