I wanted to let you know that I removed your duplicate post on the video machines board. It's not necessary to post the same request twice because our regular members generally read all of the new posts. In addition, the posts are listed on the main page no matter where they are located. Hopefully, someone will respond soon and help you find a manual. Please don't hesitate to post with any questions that you have. :71- StatFreak :31- NLG Global Moderator Title: Re: Olympic Wild Card Post by: TZtech on December 08, 2008, 05:59:05 PM Hello Mazwreck
Could you please post a picture so we could see what you are talking about. I am assuming Olympic would be the machine manufacturer and Wild Card the game theme. If thats the case it could be either a model 4000 or 6000. If you cant get a pick check the serial plate and let us know. Do have a manual for the 6000 buts its pretty basic. Do you just need this for reference or is there a specific problem you are having ? Regards Ian Title: Re: Olympic Wild Card Post by: Mazwreck on December 09, 2008, 02:24:20 AM Hello Tztech

Sorry took so long getting back to you. Yep - Thats an Olympic 6000. Please PM me your email and i will send you the maual. Its not very comprehensive though. You say you only have the PCB. Are you attempting to get it working ?. Bear in mind that your hopper circuitry is on the PSU and depending on what SW is on the board you may also need a network board. It uses a CGA monitor. Mine uses entron but i think any standard CGA monitor will work. If you do use a Entron you will need an isolation transformer. Let us know what your plans are and we will try to help you more. Regards Ian Title: Re: Olympic Wild Card Post by: Mazwreck on December 19, 2008, 07:51:24 AM Thanks TZTech for all your help with my PCB.
I have made a few pictures for people to have a look at. Sorry that there not that good but maybe someone has seen one of these PCBs before I am guessing by the manual TZtech sent me its a OA 1 Main PCB not a OA 2 On the PCB it says Olympic Amusments Video Poker 1984 Title: Re: Olympic Wild Card Post by: TZtech on December 19, 2008, 11:23:12 AM Hi
Ok Cabinet looks like 6000 but board does no. These must be some of the first Olympics on the market as the 6000 was produced round 94. Anyone else here that can assist ? Regards Ian |
