Title: Bally E-1000 code 30 Post by: terrysbp on March 04, 2011, 05:09:37 PM I am new to all this...thanks for having me....I just purchased a bally 1000 series and it works ok until payout, then it gives an extra coin or two and the error 30 flashes. Where do i start p.s. test 4 hopper test does the same.
Title: Re: Bally E-1000 code 30 Post by: Amachanic on March 04, 2011, 10:21:09 PM Hello :238- Sounds like the brake on the back of the hopper might not be working right... If you pull the hopper out of your machine, there is a spring loaded lever on the back of the motor. Make sure it moves freely, might need a drop or two of a light weight machine oil. You might want to check the micro switch adjustment on the hopper too. Sounds like you might have to take some of the play out of the rocker roller adjustment screw at the end of the micro switch. If that has too much of a gap it can cause an over payment too.. Good luck with your machine...
